“I would like to thank you for transforming my life. I know that sounds rather melodramatic, but my sessions with you have made such a difference, that it really has been a transformation.”

Is hypnosis right for you?

man-who-needs-hypnotherapy It probably is if you want to make a change in your life. Your story may go something like this: You’ve read books. You’ve bought products and joined programs. You’ve spent hours and put in enormous amounts of effort trying to find an answer to the problem that has been bothering you for months, years—perhaps even decades.

You’ve probably wondered if you’d ever get to where you want to be or even worried that you might never get there. The roadblocks you’ve run into may seem impossible to overcome. You’ve tried over and over, but it seems like something keeps putting new obstacles in your way.

is-hypnotherapy-safePerhaps you’ve become discouraged because other people have told you that you just can’t reach your goal, and you’ll never make the changes you desire. Maybe they’ve been trying to help you feel better, or maybe they had another reason. Either way, they were wrong.

I’m ready to help you.

What's been holding you back?

Have you lost your focus, lost sight of your dreams?

There IS an answer!

Imprints are beliefs, habits, and memories in your subconscious mind that affect your behavior. There are positive imprints that help you live a fulfilling life and there are negative imprints that you’ve been fighting without success for too long. Since imprints are buried in your subconscious, they’re hard to change through willpower or simple desire.

Fortunately there’s an easy way to remove negative imprints you don’t want and add or reinforce positive imprints you do want: hypnosis.

just-imagine-hypnosisHypnosis is a state of focused consciousness that lets you access your subconscious and make the positive changes you desire.

Simply put, it’s deep relaxation, an altered state of consciousness.

Yes, it’s completely safe. Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind, a simple trance. Most people go in and out of hypnosis without knowing it. If you’ve ever been in the zone while doing something and lost track of time, driven past your turn without realizing it, or gotten excited or cried over a movie or a book, you’ve experienced hypnosis. The American Medical Association approved the use of hypnosis in 1958, and the Roman Catholic Church gave its approval for hypnosis both in 1956 and in 1847.

Not at all. Even though you’ll be in a deeply focused state—which is what allows you to be unusually responsive to hypnotic suggestions—you are always in control when you are hypnotized. You cannot be made to do anything you don’t want to do. Hypnosis is not mind control. It’s not a truth serum. You are always in control of what you can do and say. In fact, hypnosis can actually show you how to master your own awareness, and thereby affect your bodily functions (such as pain) and psychological responses.

Of course you can. Just about any person of normal intelligence can be hypnotized. It has nothing to do with whether you think you have a strong mind or a weak mind, or whether you may sometimes have a hard time concentrating or relaxing. Generally, if you want to be hypnotized and you can follow simple directions, then you can be hypnotized and make the changes you desire.

Will I know I’ve been hypnotized ?

Absolutely! Hypnosis works with your subconscious mind, and if you have doubts that you were actually hypnotized, then there’s the possibility that the hypnotic suggestions made during the session will be less than fully effective. So it’s important that you know you’ve been hypnotized, and Don makes sure you do realize that you’ve achieved deep hypnosis.

How does hypnosis actually work?

During a hypnosis session, your body will relax and your thoughts will become more focused. Hypnosis lowers your blood pressure and heart rate and changes certain kinds of brain wave activity. In this state of deep relaxation, you’ll feel comfortable physically, yet fully awake mentally. In addition, you’ll become highly responsive to suggestion. Your conscious mind drifts off and your subconscious mind becomes more focused on the subject at hand.

Who will hypnotize me?

You will be hypnotized by Don Glass, a Certified Consulting Hypnotist, who holds a current certification from the National Guild of Hypnotists.

What happens during your appointment at Just Imagine Hypnosis Center?

You and Don will discuss your medical history and what issues you would like to address. Don will answer any questions you have about hypnosis and how it works.

Then you’ll be seated in a comfortable chair and guided through relaxation techniques to enter a hypnotic state. This is the induction phase, and no—there won’t be any funny swinging objects. It’s very fast and easy, and there’s nothing for you to do but be open to the process.

to be certain you have reached the level of hypnosis relevant to the work you’ll be doing. At this point you’ll be able to realize you are, indeed, experiencing hypnosis.

Depending on the kind of work you are doing, Don may continue on with some further deepening techniques. Then the real work begins. Don will guide you to neutralize any old limiting beliefs or emotional patterns. He has been trained to uncover the actual causes of problems and eliminate them, which leads to his high success rate.

using a variety of techniques to change your behavior and/or relieve your symptoms, Don will seed these new ideas in your subconscious. For example, people with anxiety may have their subconscious mind accept the suggestion that they will be able to relax whenever they want. Clients seeking weight loss may be told—among other things—that they are satisfied with smaller portions.

After that phase, you’ll return to full awareness. And you’ll probably notice how amazingly relaxed you are. It’s a very pleasant feeling and just one of the side benefits of a hypnosis session. At that point you and Don will review what transpired and discuss and reflect on your experience. You may be taught self-hypnosis and/or given a CD to take home to further support the work you’ve done.

Each phase of your session is personalized based on your specific needs, history and circumstance, ensuring that your hypnosis experience is completely professional, confidential and effective.

How long will my hypnosis sessions last?

Don uses a blend of 5-PATH (5-Phase Advanced Transformational Hypnosis, NLP (Neurolinguistic Program), regression, guided imagery, and other advanced techniques to deal thoroughly with not only the behavior or issue you are having, but also the causes of the behavior or issue, and the other factors that may cause the problem to come back as well as any secondary gain issues. This type of thorough, in-depth work requires sessions that can last between 75 and 90 minutes. Not all of that time will be in hypnosis, and it’s possible that you may be hypnotized multiple times in one session.

This work usually requires between two and six sessions to completely deal with a problem and all of the other factors surrounding it. As a Certified Consulting Hypnotherapist, Don Glass can explain what will be needed for your unique situation.

Hypnosis can help you succeed when everything else has failed!

Senior African American Couple Exercising In ParkIf you’re interested in personal achievement, hypnosis is an ideal solution. Don works every day with people who are frustrated or depressed because nothing they’ve tried has helped them reach their goals. They’ve tried everything they can think of, often at great expense, and had no success. With hypnosis, however, you can make important changes in your life and succeed quickly and easily.

And it’s not just individuals who benefit from hypnosis. Most successful professional and Olympic athletes and teams use hypnosis to help them win. The Soviet Union brought 11 hypnotists to the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and trounced the U.S. in the medal count. Since then hypnosis has been the not-so-secret weapon for many elite athletes, including the U.S. shooting team in the 2008 Olympics, where a 19-year-old won a gold medal against competitors who had been shooting longer that he’d been alive!

Now you can enjoy these same advantages for yourself, whether you’re trying to eliminate a problem, grow to a new level of achievement, or both. Just Imagine how fantastic your life can be!
